People always think that being the second child is not a good thing because they always get the "second child syndrome".
True, it is infinitely harder taking care of two small kids, both with their varying level of needs. Maybe, that is why the second child always get "less attention", unlike the first born, who got your undivided attention. But being second has its advantages too!
So, what did I notice about baby A compared to baby J? Baby A matured faster than baby J, possibly because she is trying to catch up with the milestones of her older sister. She learned to dress up by herself earlier, she was toilet-trained earlier, and she ate by herself earlier. She is also very independent. Sometimes, she would even act as if she is the older sibling instead of being the baby in the family.
Now that my kids are older, I am very thankful that my younger one does not resent the fact that she gets hand-me-downs from her older sister. She is, instead, actually very excited to finally be able to wear her sister's clothes!

But what truly melts my heart with the two of them is the bond they have created. They may fight like cats and dogs from time to time, but when it matters most, they are each other's best friend. I hope they don't change when they get older.
